2011-2012 Season Brochure
To Kill A Mockingbird
October 28- Nov 19, 2011
By Christopher Sergel
Adapted from the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Harper Lee
Family, Fairness and Truth
This American classic will compel and delight audiences as it explores the power of family and the pursuit of justice with wisdom, wit and warmth. Set in a sleepy Southern town in the 1930s, the play tells the story of the widower, attorney Atticus Finch, who undertakes the unpopular defense of a wrongly accused young black father. Patient and committed to justice in the face of community prejudice and outrage, Atticus instills in his children the traditional family values of integrity, courage, responsibility for one’s actions and respect for human dignity. Directed by Kate Tonti and produced by Marianne S. Paul.
Run For Your Wife
Jan 27 - Feb 18, 2012
By Ray Cooney
One London Cabby + Two Wives = A Very Wild Ride
Punctual and precisely-scheduled, taxi driver John Smith happily juggles two lives – and two wives – in two different London districts. When a mugging lands him in the hospital, comic complications commence as Smith tries to disentangle himself from the muddle of too many spouses and houses. Two suspicious police officers and Smith’s slacker neighbors help ladle up the laughter for this rollicking evening of satirical fun. Directed by Barbara L. Rhoades and produced by Marianne S. Paul.

The World's Most Beloved Musical
When a postulant proves too high-spirited for the religious life, she is sent to serve as governess for the seven children of a widowed naval captain. Her rapport with the youngsters and generosity of spirit capture the heart of the stern captain, and they marry. Upon returning from their honeymoon they discover that Austria has been invaded by the Nazis, who demand the captain's immediate service in their navy. The family's narrow escape over the mountains to Switzerland on the eve of World War II provides one of the most thrilling and inspirational finales ever presented in the theatre.
