Dear Friends -

On behalf of all everyone involved with Aurora Community Theatre, welcome to our 66th season!

Whatever you think of Shakespeare, we hope you'll enjoy the play I hate HAMLET in our winter slot where a TV star takes his dream role not realizing what that may lead to. In spring we sail to a 1979 floating casino setting for the musical comedy Disaster!, so keep an eye out for things going wrong around favorite songs of the 70s. We are bringing the Tony Award winning play GOD of CARNAGE to our stage this summer, so start thinking now if the grown ups or kids are really better behaved. As fall approaches we hope you won't be too tired to join us for "The Perfect Broadway Musical" The DROWSY Chaperone, where a man listening to record of his favorite 1928 musical suddenly has it come to life.

Throughout the year we continue to spark and nurture a lifelong love of theater with our youth programs, Children's Summer Workshop and Acting Up!.

Whether this is your first visit to ACT, you’ve been a season subscriber for decades, or you fall somewhere in between, I hope you enjoy today's performance and will join us for many years to come!
